"I... see." Sophie nodded as Miersck explained his unique sleep schedule, abilities and so on. Her tail went somewhat limp as she listened, and mentally she felt herself take a step away from him-- or him from her-- though neither happened. It was an odd, apprehensive feeling that she struggled to qualify-- And so she pushed it down, deep into the recesses of her heart for the time being.
"The locals call this place 'La'marri', but it doesn't have an actual, official name, I think. The... the woodlands that surround us are referred to as the Niahi Woods, and they stretch from here to the sea, and the mountains." As she explained, Sophie gestured one way and the next, trying her best to explain the layout of the land. She wasn't sure how familiar Miersck was with the area, in truth-- nor was she sure how he managed to navigate, or what he was navigating to, or from. Some part of her was afraid to ask; Worried that he might take offense to it. His health and well-being was one thing, but his personal life was his alone; She didn't want to pry. "The locals here are, for the most part, magically-inclined... You might find proper mages here, or... maybe even other fae, like yourself." She trailed off a bit at the thought, having not considered it before, and somewhat troubled by the possibility. La'marri truly was a 'free village', after all; it wasn't impossible to think that more of his kin might actually be somewhere within.
