Physical Description
Corryn has brown skin and short, shaggy, fiery red hair that falls down to her jaw in choppy layers. Her bangs are stark white. Her eyes are large and an intense, bright green with dark, thick lashes. Her lips are full and dark and usually quirked in an impish smile. She has a dusting of freckles over her nose.

Also notable is a set of four thin scars that mark her left cheek along her jaw. And though it isn't revealed often, she has another scar on her right shoulder--a terrible, vicious looking bite mark made by a rather large mouth. There are more scars on her arms and thighs and stomach, looking like claw marks.

She has rounded hips and is a little on the larger size as far as her bust goes, much to her dismay. She has an athletic build with firm muscle. She generally wears leather armor that is obviously well cared for, kept oiled and pristine, though it has obviously seen use judging by the marks and imperfections in it.

Corryn is the sort of person who wants to make a positive impact on the world, in whatever way she can. In general, she's a an optimistic person, the sort that always sees the silver lining even in a dire situation--or at least, that is the sort of image she projects. She has a lighthearted and silly sense of humor. She's rather laid back, for the most part, and lets insults slide off of her; she's the sort of person who doesn't care much when she's insulted, but cares very deeply when someone else is. She also takes pains to maintain her temper, because she has one, but she tries to keep it in check and demonstrate poise and grace--both because that was what she was taught as a noblewoman, and because she's seen the darkest side of herself, and it scares her.

She's proud. Very proud. She's the sort of person who can look regal even in rags--and, in fact, she tries her best to do exactly that, since admittedly she's a bit vain. She's confident and brave, though not foolishly so. She believes that part of being confident is knowing one's limits so as not to make foolish, dangerous mistakes, but that it also means being absolutely confident in whatever decisions she does make and to commit to them entirely.

Though she tries hard to be a good person, there is a deep part of her that is very frustrated, bitter, angry, and sad about how her life turned out. She misses her opulent lifestyle, she misses comfort and luxury, and she definitely has fine wine tastes on a beer budget. She tries not to think about that, though, and buries it all under layers of denial, though she feels pretty aimless and harbors a lot of crushing guilt. She has been trying to give her life purpose (and redeem herself) by doing good deeds for others; she is the sort of person that would interfere if she saw someone in need.

Corryn is a werewolf--she was bitten when she was younger. She turns into a large, red dire wolf on the full moon. She is not in control of herself during her transformation, and becomes a dangerous, bloodthirsty beast with a lust for human flesh. She remains in this shape until the first light of day. Generally, this isn't a problem; she's found ways to cope and carefully plans around her transformations so she's not caught off guard. One such method of "coping" involves going to the woods and chaining herself to a tree. |:

She cannot avoid these transformations. It doesn't matter whether or not she sees the moon--she still transforms.

She has the usual werewolf weaknesses--silver hurts her, and wolfsbane will kill her. On the other side of the coin, however, Corryn has excellent regenerative abilities--her body heals absurdly fast, and the only real way to kill her is to destroy her heart or brain. Doesn't mean she's in any hurry to get wounded. |: It still hurts horrifically, and any torturer would have no fear of accidentally killing her,'s a double-edged sword.

However, she's an excellent swordswoman, and her fast healing makes her a beast in combat.
