The largest province in all of Serendipity and easily the wealthiest. Its land holds many rivers and tributaries and was named for the jade deposits found therein, although gold has also been discovered in abundance. A popular province for merchants, as the Ora river runs through it and connects it with both Adela and Connlaoth.

History

Named for Serendipity's first queen, who was called Shaith the Moonspear due to the enchanted spear she wielded in battle. The Moonspear province is one of the three founding provinces of Serendipity. It has longstanding and strong alliances with Featherfall and Ravensway.

Geography

Jadenshine is centrally located in Serendipity. The Ora river runs north to south through it. Floodplains, temperate grasslands, and rivers dominate its landscape.

Areas of Note

Grand Reim - The capital city of Jadenshine. Located in the broad fork of the Ora and it's large tributary, the Iviance, which shoots off west into Jadenshine.

Society and Culture

Vampires

A large and diverse clan of vampires has found a home in Jadenshine. Vampires are usually hunted in Serendipity, but this cunning clan has managed to find tolerance, if not total acceptance, here. They have done so by being extremely careful and extremely wealthy. They feed only on the willing, and have maintained a thriving trade empire in Jadenshine for centuries.
