~IN-DEPTH STUFF~Dragon: Kahroan is a frost dragon (
drakarys cryo). He has
dark blue-gray back (dorsal) scales and
silvery blue belly (ventral) scales with matching webbing on his wings. He has a broud snout, spiky white mane running down his neck, and his large slitted eyes are a luminous blue set in dark sclera. His light blue, crystalline horns sweep back from the sides of his draconic head, sharply angling up at the tips. His claws are made of the same material as his horns.
Half-Dragon: Exactly like his dragon self, only humanoid and much smaller.
Human(?): A Yoreiqi man of below average height, with short crystalline horns that peek out of his silver-blue-streaked shoulder-length white hair, and icy blue eyes. There is a faintly blue scale pattern under his dark skin, and his Yoreiqi tattoos are jagged and branching, evoking cracked crystals. Lastly, his Yoreiqi wings have been replaced by his dragon wings.
PersonalityKahroan, a man of few words, has never been your typical warm and welcoming Yoreiqi. He is intelligent and loyal, slow to anger but violent when sufficiently provoked. He is haunted by being exiled for injuring another Yoreiqi, but has come to realize that it had been an accident and wasn't something he should feel such shame for.

River LongfangHistoryEven from an early age, he has stood out among his people in attitude and in his muted coloration. He was never judged for it, but that only served to further single out his relatively antisocial nature. Resenting his differences, he tried to pretend to be just like everyone else but never could.
However, his life wasn't bad; he had friends, he was a clever hunter, and he surfed. He actually felt unencumbered when surfing. Perhaps that is why he became infuriated when someone sabotaged his board. He assaulted his suspect and inadvertently broke one of the man's wings. As a result of that and, in light of past behavior, he was sent into exile.
In the years since, he has drifted from one odd job to another: laborer, deckhand, selling furs, bodyguard, and even a brief stint as a bandit. But he has never been happy with any of them. He needed direction, something with which he could channel his violent streak towards something bigger than himself. But he'd settle for just being strong enough for people to leave him alone.
After acquiring a brooch containing the soul of a dragon, he has become cursed. He had been warned of a price for its power and he is already paying it.
Meeting River was the best thing to ever happen to him. Despite the curse that has since turned him into a dragon, she has made him happier than he had been since before his exile. The only thing that could make it better would be the ability to change his form that some dragons possess.
