HistoryThe Itata are far from superstitious, but the Uzumaki twins are special. Twins of opposing natures, a phenomenon called Sakagami, are seen as being touched by the twin dragon gods Amaryu and Tsukuryu. This carries with it high expectations, which few ever live up to.
This is especially true of Ankoku Uzumaki. He has failed time and time again to live up to the Itata ideal that Sakagami represent. He is no scholar, no inventor, and barely a passable builder.
So he took a more original path; he became a Shadow Ranger. It took a lot of training and determination, but eventually he graduated from a Fledgling to a full Ranger. He may lack strength, but his speed, agility, and determination are nearly unmatched.
