Zephyr drifted into the town of Valen, on the border of Vythe and Highheart, as if with the breeze. He hadn't been separated from her for long, but already he missed his daughter. For this reason, his hair and clothes were a little more gray than usual. Touching the stone hidden under his shirt for reassurance, he closed his eyes and wished he could still touch the soul that dwelled there. But it was enough to tell him he wasn't alone.
With a sigh, he headed towards the tavern to find out what was happening around town. There was always a reason Fate led him where it did—some injustice he was meant to correct. It was a role he had begun to hate.
