In the Shadow, In the Light (M)

[Lion]

His grin turned sly and he turned the dress over a few times in his hands.  "Well, if you're not going to wear it maybe I will!" he said with a laugh and pulled his own shirt up and over his head and threw the dress on his shoulders.  It was tight, very tight!

He stuffed his arms through the sleeves and laughed, flattening the front over his chest.  He was just about bursting at the seams!

Him putting the dress on was the last thing that Ariel expected. She stood up straight, no longer seeing a reason to be tensed now that he could not force her into it and simply stared in open-mouthed shock.

"It...suits you," she finally stated, trying but failing to mask a giggle. "Brings out the color of your eyes. You should wear it to work!"

[Lion]

Jerec puffed out the sleeves a little and spread out the ends over his legs.  He was laughing hard, growing a bit red-faced as he did so.  "What's so funny?" he snorted.  "Don't I look dashing?"

[GoblinFae]

"You look like a sausage," the young woman blurted out, finally failing altogether to keep her laughter at bay. "A little color to your complexion and I'm sure the drunkards at the tavern would be cat-calling after you for miles. Now wouldn't that be a sight!"

[Lion]

"I think after a few shots of whiskey I'd be rosied enough, wouldn't you agree?" he asked with  a grin.  He tried to sit down daintily, but the dress ripped along it's side.  "Whoops!"

[GoblinFae]

Ariel giggled more as she moved to stand beside him. "Careful there or you'll give 'em all a heartattack showing off your wares like that now lass. We wouldn't want that now. Least not before they've paid ya," she joked, winking at him patting him on the shoulder.

[Lion]

"Oh I'm not worried about them," he said with a chuckle and grabbed Ariel suddenly, pulling her into his lap.  He laughed loudly and vlew raspberries into her neck.  "I'd be more concerned that I might try to put this dress on YOU!"

[GoblinFae]

She froze and gasped at suddenly being pinned upon his lap. The tickling sensation on her neck though soon had her squealing and squirming in earnest as she beat her small fists against his shoulders and back.

"NO! JEREC! You've already ruined it! Don't you dare try! I'll look hideous!"

[Lion]

"Then we can rip it up and throw it into the fireplace after," he said as he tried to keep hold of her wriggling form.  "C'mon.  The least you could do is try it on.  Somebody obviously went out of their way to make this for you, assuming.  You can't just wear that tunic for the rest of our stay."

[GoblinFae]

"I thought you liked the tunic," she teased with a wink before resuming her efforts to escape. "Besides, I put that damn thing on and you'll go and find you like it and then I'll be stuck wearin' one forever. I prefer me trousers thank you!"

[Lion]

"Maybe I just want you to put it on," Jerec chuckled, arms never relenting as he stood up and kissed at her neck and cheek in furious pecks.  "So I can rip it off you!"

[GoblinFae]

Ariel snorted and shook her head. "And what if I want to rip it off you first? Would you deny me that right?" She wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms about the back of his neck to help hold herself up, having since given up on fleeing now that he was carrying her. Peeking over his shoulder she quipped, "who knew you actually had such a shapely rear. Seems I'm not the one that needs to wear dresses more often, mutt."

[Lion]

"What was that!?  What!?" he laughed and proceeded to jam his fingers up and across her sides now that she was completely at his mercy.

[GoblinFae]

"You heard me!" she panted between breaths of air while clinging tightly to him as if pressing closer would make her less of an easy target. "Mutt stop! Can't breathe! STOOOOOOP! THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO MAKE ME WEAR THE DRESS!"

[Lion]

"No, but it sure is fun to make you squeal!" he panted with a wicked grin.  There was no end to the savagery his fingers could inflict and only when her voice reached a pitch only dogs could hear did he stop.  And he stood over her, triumphant in his ripped dress.

[GoblinFae]

Huffing and puffing like a dog after a run, Ariel buried her face into his neck, trying to muffle her sounds as she tried to relax after the side-splitting laughter he had instilled in her. "Done now?" she wheezed against him. "You look ridiculous." She groaned as she stared up at him, wondering if she could make a dash for it before he had a chance to shove her into it. "Do I have to put it on?"

[Lion]

Jerec put a hand over his mouth and shook his head.  He removed it and just smiled at her for a moment.  "But I think I'd like to take it off now," he said.  "It's kind've itchy and it's already too ripped to salvage."

[GoblinFae]

Perking up excitedly she reached to give it a tug. "Can I rip it? Please, please, please? Can I? Can I, can I, can I? Please Jerec?" Ariel batted her eyelashes up at him pleadingly, having learned it as a persuasive tactic from some of the other village girls. "I'll make it up to you later?" She tried promising weakly, having no idea how she would make it up to him but knowing he would probably make her regret it.

[Lion]

"It's you dress not mine.  Have at it!" Jerec said with a shrug and smiled.  "You can pull that sleeve and I'll get the other one.  Or did you just want to ri the whole thing off me?"

[GoblinFae]

She squealed with joy, already reaching for a better grip when she came to an important decision. "Together then. I wouldn't want you to miss all the fun. Ready?" Ariel was practically jumping with giddiness over such a small act of defiant destruction.
