problems with avatar.

okay so I just spent the last hour and a half tracking down a photo to use as my avatar (I felt it was high time I had a visual image for you guys to link to me) and I found the image and got the direct url for the image ( https://i.chzbgr.com/completestore/12/9/27/cil-upzj7ki2EmtfmdPoZQ2.jpg ) and now I can't get the image to work....got it to work on another site but not here and I don't know why....can anyone help me out?

I don't know Zane I got it to work no problem. Make sure that when you plug in the new link that at the beginning of the url you don't have https:// twice. I noticed that when I went to do that that problem occurred.

okay my issue occurs when I click the change profile button....I went to modify profile =>forum profile and clicked "Specify avatar by URL" to get the box to appear and deleted the http:// then entered the image address and clicked the change profile button....but nothing changed and the option went back to no avatar

It did that the first time I tried and then when I remained on that page I added my url again and I don't know deleted the second set of http....any chance you have a weird space there?

and there pray tell was the problem...needed to delete the second http:// not the first....thank you for your help Fae
