Physical Description

Inteus is tall with a trim and agile form. While strong, he is not overly muscled and is more equipped for maneuvers involving speed or agility as opposed to brute force. His hair is a dark mahogany that almost looks black in certain lights and falls to just past his shoulders in soft waves if left unbound. He usually keeps it tied up and back though in a bun. Inteus also has some dark scruffy stubble along his chin and cheeks, giving him a bit of a rugged appearance. His brows are thick and accentuate his bronze eyes which always seem to glow with unspoken mischief and interest.

He does not have any piercings or tattoos. When out of uniform, Inteus prefers to show off his figure whenever possible. He is not fond of shirts although he has adopted the more Serenian influences of clothing when it comes to trousers and boots. He will switch based on his moods between more traditional attire of his tribe and the more stylish dress of Ketra. He does however wear a series of woven leather bands and beads around his right wrist which he never removes. Inteus also has a small, red carved wooden fox head necklace that he also wears that he made himself.

Personality

CRAZY LIKE A FOX
Inteus is cunning and smart although he'll gladly allow you to think him the fool. He's a strategist known for his adaptability and sometimes even unpredictability in the field. He often toes the line between the procedural way to do something and his way to do something. This is especially true when he feels that there is a better way to accomplish the same task with less effort or more effectively. He is patient though and will bide his time instead of rushing in head first and arrows flying. It is for this reason that he likely has not gotten into more trouble with his superiors than he actually has.

WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY?
He is loud and he is proud! Inteus enjoys the attention and strutting his stuff and he has the charisma and charm to pull it off. His favorite game is wooing with the prize always being what happens afterwards behind closed doors. He knows what to say to make you want him and enjoys the chase thoroughly. He flirts with everyone without discrimination and while he plays the field, he does respect boundaries. There are lines he just will not cross once they have been set in stone before him.

FOX IN THE HENHOUSE
On top of everything else Inteus is mischievous. When left to his own devices and bored he will start looking for trouble. The greater the scheme he can pull off without getting caught, the greater appeal. He is not one to back down on a dare and will rise to challenge every time. Cross him though and it might not be today or tomorrow but there will come a day where he pays you back for that. He has all the time in the world and far too much devious energy pent-up to not put to good use.

Magic/Abilities

Silver Tongue: Inteus isn't just good with words, he actually has a talent for persuading people to get his way. While he could never force someone to do something that they absolutely would never do he can manage to nudge up against those grey lines of inhibitions to get someone to drop their guard or be more open. Whether he knows to what extent or not, his words have power and it is a gift that has served him well in life.

Relationships

Braytok: A female dragon with scales that shimmer between yellow and green depending on the light. Her wings are attached to her forelimbs and her tail has extra sails along the end. She tends to be rather surly to most people but she's got a real soft spot for Inteus.

History

Inteus was one of the few of his tribe to be selected as a dragon rider trainee. It was considered a great honor and is one of the things that he has the utmost respect for. Despite his playful nature, he took his training very seriously and soon advanced to becoming a Dragonrider. He serves his country with pride and honor despite his seemingly devil-may-care attitude to everything.
