Just curious about something regarding pictures. I am wondering why we can only upload from a url link and embed the image using the image tags but not directly upload from one's computer?
To me, this makes things more complex especially regarding pictures one has paid for to use as character art but cannot post it on Photobucket for instance as that would be in violation of copyrights. As I understand it, the picture still belongs to the artist no matter if one paid for it or not. It would be easier if we could simply upload from our computer in this case so as not to infringe on copyright matters.
I don't know anything about managing a board or if this is something that can be changed to include this feature or not. I have a few pictures of characters but am unable to show them here because of this and that makes me sad and disappointed. If anyone knows of an alternative to photobucket that does not infringe on copyrights and does not include a blog either as I don't have one and don't ever plan on having one, any insights are greatly appreciated here. Thanks.
