Physical Description

Six pairs of horizontal pink scars starkly decorate his warm brown cheeks much like a set of gills on either side of his strong, wide nose. Waquin'i's eyes are iridescent blue-green depending on the light and nearly always crinkled with uncontained laughter. Full lips equally tend to be pulled back into a wide, pointy-toothed crooked grin. The crookedness is in part due to personality but also due to a hooked scar coming from the left corner of his mouth.

He has a somewhat curvy build with broader shoulders and hips and well muscled arms and legs. His position as a scout is well-placed given he was always one of the fastest runners and swimmers growing up. 

Waquin'i wears the traditional clothes of his people from colorful bandanas and sashes when not on patrol to loose trousers and tunics with strong, soft leather boots for quick, quiet work.

As for jewelry, he has some small gold hoop earrings and a few eyebrow piercings. Around his neck is a beaded necklace of shells with a single shark tooth at the center. 


Personality

Outwardly, Waquin'i is a bright, bubbly, and excitable soul. He is very much a people person and loves a good laugh or spot of mischief. He has a rather laid back attitude about most things when off duty and enjoys simply existing in the moment. Taking things too seriously just causes wrinkles and ruins the vibe.

He's a keen and insightful problem-solver, working at his best under pressure and with unique creativity.

Additionally, given his somewhat smaller stature and size, Waquin'i does get a bit territorial and sensitive about things, often feeling the need to prove himself or be more competitive even when there is not competition in place.
